Hand-crafting millwork in Seattle since 2009.
We're a father-and-son millwork shop in Ballard. Every kitchen, closet, staircase and piece of furniture we make is drawn, cut, glued and finished by us — in our workshop, by hand, with lumber we pick ourselves. No flat-pack. No subcontracted installers. No surprises at invoice time.
When you call, you'll speak to Joe (the finish carpenter). He'll come out, measure up, and give you a fixed estimate in writing within 24 hours.

Questions we get on every first call.
How much does a custom kitchen cost?
Most of our kitchens land between $25,000 and $75,000 for the cabinetry and millwork, depending on size, lumber, hardware and countertop. We'll give you a range on the first phone call and a fixed estimate in writing after we've measured up.
How long does a kitchen or closet take?
From estimate sign-off, expect 4–6 weeks in the workshop, then 1–2 weeks on site for kitchens and 3–5 days for built-in closets. We'll send you a dated schedule with the estimate.
Do you handle plumbing & electrical?
We work with two licensed master electricians and two licensed master plumbers we've used for over a decade. They come in at the right stage, pull their own permits, and bill you direct — no mark-up from us.
Can you work on landmarked or period homes?
Yes — about a third of our work is on landmarked or historic district homes. We've made sash windows, doors, staircases and paneling that's passed design review the first time. Bring your historic district paperwork to the first visit.
Will you replace what we already have?
We can. Removal, disposal and patching is itemized on the estimate so you know what you're paying for. Old solid wood that's worth saving, we'll offer to restore instead.
Do you offer free estimates?
Always. First visit and estimate are free, with no obligation. If you're more than 90 minutes from Ballard we may ask for a small travel fee, refunded against the estimate if you go ahead.
